If anyone wishes the Venus dates, i have been in possession of them since 1985. They are slightly extensive as in about six dates per year for 21 years, rise and set and conjunction.
Let me know if anyone cares to study them.
I dug them up because of lunar dates i read about in
Wikipedia claimed that intercalary Elulu
was only used once in the 19-year calendar
(as 1 of the 7 intercalary months, the other six being WeAdar).
By tracing them thru the centuries i found that they were seasonal
for 1442 BC onward until in 625 BC where the Book Of Calendars
starts up and claims the WeAdar is Nisanu.
which no prob to contradict The Book Of Calendars
which is usually in error anyways, and which says the months
were just thrown in at will when needed... yeh right.
But i am trying to learn by studying their error. The book makes
two claims that i am not sure go hand-in-hand. It marks years with interclary months with one asterisk or two asterisks. And where on one
hand it says single asterisk is 29 days and double is 30 days, on the other hand in the list of months it says single asterisk is Elulu and double is WeAdar. (sigh) So i figure to compare it between Artaxerxes lunar dates
(474-423 BC) and Amizaduga's lunar dates (1646-1625 BC) i might get a clue to solve it.
So i thought i would compare it to how many dates during
Amizaduga were Elulu II or WeAdar.
Wish me luck.

they call me an anonymous donator at Wikipedia because i wont set up a name that they can develop a bias against. Apparently my IP address changes so that they do not know I am the one who posted the Amizaduga dates from the book by Fotheringham. (I still have several photo copies of the book if you wish one). But as such fools they be, they again wiped out the following important information regarding the posted dates... which are Fotheringham and not the actual written dates on tablets.

== Pattern Clarification ==
- These dates are taken from JK Fotheringham. They are the calculations due to many errors in the texts. As Venus repeats every 8 years on the same (unlisted) Egyptian date, these Egyptian dates are 2 leap days less in Julian (i.e Year 1 in 1645 BC a rise on Mekir 3 on Mar 10, and year 9 a rise on Mekir 3 on Mar 8 ); in 40 years it retreats 12 days less Julian (2 dates Egyptian) as in 1605 BC a rise on Mekir 1 on Feb Feb 27. The text is in lunar months so the drift appears about 4 days every 8 years (i.e year 5 in 1642 BC rising Ayar 11, then year 13 in 1634 BC rising on Ayar 7, then year 21 in 1626 BC rising on Ayar 3).
-
- The front of tablet lists the events in annual order; and the back side of the tablet lists them in order of month, i.e. Year 5 and year 13 Ayar and year 21 Nisan/Ayar; then year 8 and year 16 Tamuz; then year 3 and 11 and 19 as Elulu, and thus as a math exercises to relate every 8 years but in order of month from Nisan forward.
-
- == Errors ==
- The text shows errors such as: Year 8 inferior Venus text doesnt say Adar 12 but rather says Simanu 11 as if it was originally Adar 11 and the Simanu was carried over from the preceding year 8 superior Venus. Year 12 says Nisan 12 to Ululu 25 which widens the actual superior absence by 50 days before it and another 50 days after it; this could occur if a close city light source was preventing dimmer view, such as perhaps observation over a sacrificial fire lit before observation instead of after it. Year 14 inferior actually lists 1 month 17 days which is superior not inferior and obviously taken from the other lines of superior in the month of Arahsamna such as Year 18 which only lists that month and no dates. Year 20 is calculated as Ululu 1 but it reads on both front and back as Ululu 24; on the backside of tablet this line is preceded by year 12 which reads Ululu 25 (the 50-day error already mentioned). Fotheringham has an error himself for although year 5 superior Kislimu (Kislev) to Shebat will drift to be Tebet to Adar as year 13 and 21 are; the months of March and April are too late for Kislev/Shebat and would even require an II Elulu and III Elulu in the same year to put them there. II Elulu is listed in these dates; II Adar is not. In some cases for these dates to be correct for any consecutive 21 years (not altered from later observation 64 to 275 years later), the II Elulu is added in two consecutive years (contrary to any known lunar rules), or an II Adar and II Elulu must exist 18 months apart.
-
- == NeoBabylon or Jewish Metonic Cycle ==
- The 19-year Jewish cycle (645-626-607 BC) is one year ahead of the 19-year NeoBabylonian cycle (644-625-606 BC). Indications the 19-year cycle may have begun as Joshua's year of death 1443-1442 BC, age 110, after 6-year conquest and 25-year rule, (WatchTower 1955). The Seder Olam claims 19-year lunar cycle comes from 3761 BC Adam (001:01). It should be noted that the Venus texts place II Elulu in year 11 (1636 BC =Jewish Seder 112:17) and year 19 (1628 BC =Jewish Seder 113:06); thus being Jewish but not NeoBabylon which would be the following year as intercalaries.
