My name is Ed and I am a longwinded writer

I'm just a computer data entry guy, working for the man, putting in my time so that I can pursue my many interests.  One of these interests is in archeology---and I am not picky about the archeology of which region or time that I like best.  I am fascinated by near eastern archeology.  I have also read quite a bit about myan arch, chinese arch, greek and italian arch, and early american arch.  Im also interested in anthropology---and in tracing the spread of humans across the globe.  I have a belief that while the canadian corridor may have been the main gateway for the spread of humans into North and South America----that there is also a strong possibility that Polynesians made it to South America by boat far earlier than science is yet ready to suggest.  I am also interested in genealogy. I have traced several lines of my family back to the 16th century.
Besides archeology I have strong interests in astrophysics, theoretical physics, geology(I saw a fantastic program on public tele about the history of the land and rocks of Nova Scotia recently), histories of all sorts, biology and genetic theory, and many other sciences

I would love to be able to engage in archeological field work one day.  Perhaps after I retire from my government McJOB or win the lottery.
