Hello, I'm a returning member (was on the old board from the late 90s until it closed), and I'm very glad to see this back up again!

I'm married to my lovely wife, and have 2 kids.

I've been researching the Ark of the Covenant since 1987, especially with regards to its disposition in antiquity.

Do you hold with Rabbi Getz et al about the likely location under the temple mount?

No, not at all. I agree with some others that, over the past 3000 years, the Temple Mount has been razed, rebuilt, scoured, searched, that, if it were there, it would have turned up by now.

I am of the view that there is a historical kernel to the Kebra Nagast.
