I must say that Ararat is surrounded east and north and west by valleys. However by satellite it is as if the volcano (double volcano because its smaller offshoot is connected to the south east) looks as if the mountain mass actually just rose up and pearced a single valley making a horseshoe around it from west to north to east.
As you can see, it has been a religious excuse for 40 years of persons saying that the ark may not be up there; it may be disassembled or decayed or even that Genesis says MOUNTAINS of Ararat. Unfortunately, this is lame for although the land all around these two mountains are called the land of Ararat, all of the mountains in this land of Ararat are not Ararat but only the two mountains are. This is established fact and the contrary is deceptive rebuttal. They are even labeled as Big Ararat and Little Ararat as in father and son. And the name itself is as if to be two peaks because it is only three letters representing three words. essentially the T means crosspoint which is always established by two crossing lines, or easily means Two or twa or tuo or Duo. And the rest of the name consists of two letters (or words) in english the R or in Russian the P implying the whole name means point point two, or peak peak two (PPT /RRT), or peak peak crossing. So definately this excludes all other surrounding mountains in the land of Ararat as being mountains of Ararat that they are not.
