I would like to protest the misogynistic language on the BAS forum. Specifically, using the word "whore" when referring to another poster's position. It is demeaning to women and completely unnecessary. There is absolutely no relationship between female sexuality and scholarship.

Just don't quote Revelation 17:5.  Susan will throw a fit and ask that it be deleted.

It seems that the poster has forgotten the little diddly:

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.

I think that sometimes it is just better to ignore the words used by others and focus on what you write. The Bible tells us to 'do unto others ...' I saw nothing wrong with 'notalent's' posts and that a misunderstanding, a leap to a conclusion, or an assumption was made by the OP who ignored all attempts by 'notalent' to explain and clarify his words.
