Do you ever get "Page Not Found" when coming to the BAS Forum?

Some users report that occasionally the forum is "not found" - but that typically it lasts only a couple or few minutes.  Some days never, sometimes just once and some days several times...

Our server logs do not reflect this - so it may be a signal issue between particular users and the server.

Have any of you experienced this?

i have experienced that but i return another time and can get in to post.

the only time it happened was when we were in test/beta, not since the forums went public.

thats standard internet occurance, timer on the explorer giving up with lack of sucess. Many times you can reopen your browser and then it does. Here is something i seem sure of, when you open a webpage, it downloads the html of the page, after that youre really not connected to that page, the page is on your hard drive, and needs to be refreshed. THat seems totally true with the FILE NOT FOUND page too. Trying 2nd and 3rd times are usually just pulling up your same NOT FOUND PAGE html instead of refreshing and looking for it again. Thats why you either use the refresh button, or you open a NEW browser window to attempt again. Its the system beyond the control of BAS.
