is there a ignore option that allows us to programatically "ignore" posters?

Other forums I participate make it much easier for those of us that are sincere and want to learn to be able to list user ID's that we want to "ignore", that way their posts don't "clutter up" threads.  this gives the user a way to self-determine if someone else is a "troll", in their opinion, and allows them to not have to sort through those posts, so that they can continue actually participating in the forum, productively - and not have to just "give up" out of frustration of having to deal with posts that are trolling for attention.

Please?!

We tried that mod but it does not work well with our theme and other mods.

...we'll keep our eye peeled on an upgrade to it.

It is not available at this time.  We can only suggest that one read or not read posts as s/he pleases.

Thanks, Rick. I thought I saw mentioned in another post (JohnStevenson, IIRC) that it had been implemented.

Ah, I found his post:  Ignore List

:(
I see now that it does not work with our most recent custom theme, which was redone when the BAS site was redone.

I cannot say when or if it will work again as there are so many other things on "the list".

Please bear with us  :'(
