I still believe Imhotep fits Joseph better than any of the other characters.  Why?  Because I didn't really understand a word you said. =P

i have learned in reading anyone elses words, whether a post, or a book i buy, etc. That i understand, and others understand, what they try to understand. Dont try, and you dont understand. If its true when i read others words, it is true with anyone who thinks my words are the problem and not their atitude. Especially when it isnt 2 or 4 sentences not understood, but rather NOT A WORD YOU SAID. Then it definately is the reader, because otherwise they could ASK about the 1 or 2 points they didnt understand. This is how language becomes different familes who dont understand. You reach a point where you know things they dont, and so they will never understand. (hey i did go back and retype it, it was stupid when i wrote -sabbath to void sabbath- instead of -sabbath to avoid famine- so what i hear in my head and see on the paper isnt always the same, my apology, thanx for telling me it didnt make sense

Elijah, I will go over what you wrote a few more times, and I promise I will do my best to comprehend it.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your take on the subject. :)  Much appreciated.

the book 'Unwrapping the Pharaohs' by David Down & John Ashton discuss Josephon pages: 12, 78-80, 82-85, 91, 175, 196, 206, 212, 215.

they offer a good theory but it relies a lot on the revision of the egyptian chronologies to make the evidence fit and when i say 'fit' i do not mean manipulation.

Joseph's tomb is still in existence though it is under palestine rule and has been basically destroyed so there is not much there to help date his rule.
