Indeed, when I had opportunity to view the Tutankhamen exhibit a couple of years ago, I found it striking how certain of the artifacts sounded very much like the biblical description of artifacts and furniture from the tabernacle. It served for me as a reminder that the culture of the early Israelites would have been heavily impacted by their Egyptian associations.
