Have you all heard about Raphael Haim Golb, son of Norman Golb, being accused of impersonating Lawerence H. Schiffman online? Mr. Schiffman proposes, as most scholares do, that Qumran was an Essene site and the scrolls came from there. Norman Golb proposes that Qumran was a fortress and the scrolls came from various libraries and were hidden prior to the first revolt against Rome.

I think it's funny that scholars sometimes take to personally attacking each other. Funny because the fact is, both sides may be right. Qumran may have been an Essene site and many of the scrolls may have originated from there. In addition it could have been used as a fortress during the first Roman revolt and additional scrolls could have been depostited there from other libraries for safe keeping.

And I propose that both are correct.

Only they fail to look at this from time span.

There was a time when Qumran was not Essen and there was a time when it was fortified shelter.

We know mostly about 200 to 300 years of history of that community.

They should argue their case and present time stamp for their evidence.
There is some evidence that that the end of first century AC it was Nazarene as well.

That may be a device to escape being Called a Corrupter of the Holy Words of God, and Hide the Truth from the True Sons of Abraham, as Cain Has from the Beginning when they came into the Scribes at the latter part of King Saul or David's reign and began immediately To Sprititually Blind the True Sons of Abraham.

Joshua was warned of this when he was warned about the Inhabitants of the Land in the Promised Land.

When Joshua took the Children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob into The Promised Land, he was told that they must not have anything to do with the Inhabitants, I am not aware of the Exact Words, nor the Meaning but the Implication was a Blinding, I believe to Be Spiritual of the Children of Israel.

Cain would want to Mislead and Corrupt, masquerading as a Scholar.

They could actually hide more truth and allow little to be revealed.

They often state knowingly, there have been changes made in the Scriptures.

They are often irreverent as they are proven irreverent toward any Religious Truth not Open to Question which may lead to More Adherence to any Important Biblical Truth about God, though Hiding behind Scholarly Pursuit of the Truth.

They are openly Irreverent of some Scriptural Truths, allegedly because there were more then two Isaiahs or Jeremiahs in Some Passages.

They claim that This was necessary to hide The Author who, Being in Babylon wanted to remain alive and continue for when He could Return to the Holy Land.

This is accomplished by by Cains' Misstranslating where possible, the Word of God where it is called Commentary and has often been accepted by all.

You know that some in Hebrew Studies have said, that all that can be known about God can be known in the Torah which is True indeed, and that also all else is Commentary.

If so, with a little twisting, they could go a little further and say, if without Scruples that they comment and that Comment is accepted as their True Purpose is not Readily Known as they are in authority and so will not be questioned as to their Position.

Though their desire is to Twist the Truth by omission or commission though they are not easily Challenged.

They have are accepted as a Jew, wholly desiring Truth, and they may be presently disobedient, they would not be easily be challenged by virtue of their Privilege of Scholarly pursuit and their Credentials.

Thus rote Detailed Memory of the Scriptures, they are very able to defend their Position.

Though their Purpose could be verily to Spiritually Blind the True Sons, (Children of Abraham) of Abraham or even Inconveniencing them in Understanding, they could really exist even Today against God and Israel, even within Israel itself as a Sub-Cultural Lack of Understanding, Fully Intended and Defended by their Own Knowlege of God as he Is.

I believe they do indeed exist in this manner today, and are actively Opposing GOD, though they Spiritually Die, and taking the Blessings of Israel as they sought to Do through Baalam of Peor, Baalam means really lord am. (baalam is herein capitalized only for readability)

Sort of like I AM.

isn't this name baalam, yet not valid comparison even, baalam is like a rock or stone carven to worship, not worthy to be mentioned in the same paragraph or passage but only to illustrate what some may have done and accomplished in twisting the Holy Word of The Lord God of Israel for the Purpose of Hiding the Blessings of Israel from Israel, the Prince with God and his Children, Israel.

this may be further evidence that there was and is ongoing Identity Theft in the Dead Sea Scrolls, but in a Different Manner and Proof for Reason for Identity Theft perhaps.

I read of a document, an ancient one, siezed in a Stolen Antiquities art project in Israel.

Has anyone noticed that there is a corresponding reason for the importance of that document, a legal Property document, possibly a DEED of a Piece of Property sold to a Prophet by a Widow, Recorded in the Scriptures.

It prophesied the Return of the Children of Israel to Israel, a Reason for Stealing it and Hiding it, as it Proves the Prophecy of Israels return is Verified.

It could have been connected it to a Burial Cache of Documents, one of Two, of which are the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The fact that the Dead Sea Scrolls wherein it was Recorded that there were two Caches of Documents and were apparently buried in Different Locations for Security of these Documents for their More Sure Discovery later.

I don't recall where the Reference to the Burial of the Document would be as Buried in an Urn but I believe it was Buried in an Urn in the Scriptures.

If so, I believe that if the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and if the Document, the Property Deed was within the Urn then the Urn was discovered and Probably Mistranslated Intentionally by Somone who also removed the Deed from the Urn.

If this Deed is the Original Recording of that Prophesy is in the Old Testament and it States the Deed of the Property was made by the Prophet for the Purpose of Prophesying the Return of Israel, Then this Deed is Truly an Amazing Find for that Purpose Especially as it has Been Shown to Be a Valid Prediction of Israel Returning to Israel and Cannot Be denied.

There is a real was between maximalists and minimalists.
The right on the modern Israel on their home land is in the heart of the debate.

Arab nations lead the minimalist view.

About the claim that there are 2 writers of Isaiah, there is strong scientific case
that can be built.

When you read W Shakespeare you recognize his style, there is signature to his writings, early and late writings.

The same you can say about the Hebrew style of Isaiah.
The analysis of the masoretic Hebrew text according to number of Hebrew scholars points to two such signatures.

It is also possible that both writers called Isaiah.
How many Johns or Joseph are in the NT?

Although there are some differences in the literary style of chapters 1-39 and 40-66, this does not at all mean that the entire book could not have been written by one person.

New Testament use of Isaiah. First, quotations from chapters 40-66 (allegedly from "second" Isaiah) are simply attributed to Isaiah (see Matthew 3:3 and Acts 8:28-33 for just two examples). Second, in John 12:37-41, there are quotations from Isaiah 53:1 and 6:10, and both are attributed to the same Isaiah who saw the glory of the Lord (John 12:41).

Thus, I think there are good reasons for believing that there was only one author of the book of Isaiah.

Quote
There is a theory that there are 3 writers:

1. The Real Isaiah. This author relentlessly curses Jerusalem and its leaders, and particularly the priests, for leading their people astray. He curses them all, priest and follower, for their lies, arrogance, foolishness, bloodlust, powerlust, hypocrisy, and for being basically rotten. He offers no hope at all, except the hope that everything he sees will be completely destroyed. He is utterly disgusted, and his curses come with a flashing light that screams, "And what's coming will serve you all right!" He writes with the passion of a man who has been angry about this for a long time, but who has not been heeded, and who truly wants to see it all fall. And he says it WILL fall.
It's logical that this is the man who the priests and leaders of Jerusalem would want to get rid of. He makes them all look very bad.
(Chapter - Verse)

1: 1-17, 21-25, 29-31
2: 6-22
3: 1-26
4: 1, 4

31: 1-2
32: 5-14
33: 1, 4, 7-16, 18, 23

2) The first author whose work is woven all through Isaiah's writing I will call The Levite. Who would be more threatened by the curses of The Real Isaiah? Those curses signal the end of Israel, the end of the Chosen People promises, the end of what was hoped would be a permanent, world-dominating Israelite religion - in short, the end of the Levite dream of being permanently at the top. And The Real Isaiah blames Jerusalem's leaders - its priests and king - for the whole mess. The Levite reverses many of Isaiah's predictions, and assures the reader that Yahweh's promises (to the Levite priests, to King David's family, to the Israelite people) are still intact and dependable. Then he builds hopeful and even gloriously beautiful dreams of the future for Israel, under Yahweh and his religion (quietly reclaiming the Levite place of power). He hates other religions; they are threats and to be despised - and all his visions glorify Yahweh's supremacy (which guarantees Levite supremacy).

(Chapter - Verse)

1: 18-20, 26-28
2: 1-5
4: 2-3, 5-6
7: 1-10, 12, 14-16, 21
8: 1-4, 9-10, 19-22
10: 12-21, 24-34

14: 1-2
16: 5
17: 5-9, 13-14
24: 14-15, 23
25: 1-11
26: 1-21
27: 1-9, 12-13
28: 5-6, 23-29
29: 7-8, 17-19, 22-24
30: 18-24, 26, 29, 31
31: 3-9
32: 1-4, 15-20
33: 2-3, 5-6, 17, 19-22, 24
35: 1-10

3) The second author whose work is woven into Isaiah's I will call The Curser. He makes it his business to curse all of Israel's chosen enemies. His writing is distinct and separate from the other two. Like The Levite, he is undoubtedly a priest, but unlike The Levite, his writing does not interfere directly with the statements made by The Real Isaiah. Rather his curses are used to bolster The Levite's spin, and to express the violent, vengeful fury Yahweh feels for all the people who the Israelites hate. For instance, Isaiah curses Jerusalem, and then The Levite deflects the curse and shows how the Israelites can overcome it, and then The Curser comes in and re-fires the curse at (for instance) the Moabites. To the reader it almost seems like Yahweh himself has redirected his own curse. It is literary sleight of hand, and very inventive.

As in so much of today's cut and paste art, like creative sound and film editing, or like a cleverly crafted piece of propaganda, these three characters flash in and out of view, their words chopped into each other's, one taking up where the other left off, until all their scripts run out. The end effect is that the listener does not hear each of the three separate scripts, but instead absorbs the idea that the editor wanted him to hear. We'll separate the three scripts.
Chapter - Verse)

13: 1-22
14: 3-32
15: 1-9
16: 1-4, 6-14
17: 1-3
18: 1-7
19: 1-25
20: 1-6
23: 1-18
28: 1-4
34: 1-17
