I'm sure Herschel Shanks is all broken up about not having your highest level of respect.

For goodness sakes,  he's a journalist and a businessman.

I'm very happy to have a magazine like BAR so I can have a chance to learn things about the world beyond my county line.  National Geographic is too corrupted with PC and the religion of Evolution to be worth reading anymore.  BAR mixes in various sides of issues wonderfully well.

I don't think anything they might change would ever please you, so far about all I've seen out of you is that you would try to argue the barbed-wire off a fence post.  Lighten up, Francis.

While I do not always agree with Shanks position or style, I think that particular article was well written, factual and with no hint of "religion".

...so in the end we will have to agree to disagree.
