I was able to purchase the Mac OS version of BAR on CD-ROM; unfortunately BAR has ignored Mac OS users since 2003. Why is this?
The CD-ROM archive requires the use of the third-party Accordance software, but for the life of me I can't see why. PDF is the standard format used for archiving periodicals on CD/DVD so BAR should take advantage of it. I don't know what software BAR uses for publishing/Layout but just about all modern packages have a way to produce a pdf. By using ISO 9660 and PDF standards, BAR can release a cross-platform archive on CD/DVD.
Since I pass my copy of BAR on to my mother, who in turn passes it on to her pastor, I no longer have the 2004 - 2008 issues. An archive CD would be appreciated.
