Very excellent reply, you are asking for tangible evidence of Egypt since he knocks tangible evidence of Israel. Yet this is what the world does, they will accept the WRITTEN record of those Egyptians as not lie but truth, and yet call that record of the Jews as all lies. This is exactly what the Bible is about, the people who say your people lie and mine do not, my people have truth and yours does not.

Indeed.  It's a form of anti-semitism to say that Jewish writings are all lies, but Egyptian's, Assyrian's etc., are the gospel truth.

And they wish to blame the Catholic Church then as anti-science for what they did to Galileo. In blaming the Church they think they should attack the Bible, but by attacking the Bible they are then doing what the Catholic Church did and attack the Jews too. Simply put, its about each person thinking they have truth and all other people do not.

I think the idea of a land bridge is pure nonsense.  There was no east-west crossing of the entire Red Sea.  The crossing was over the narrow coral path between the west side of the Red Sea and Pharoah's Island, near Taba.  The Israelites were being chased by Pharoah's army--thus the line in Exodus where they were told to "turn back."

The East wind allowed the Israelites to cross over the otherwise submerged coral, surprise attack the Egyptians on the island, and when the rest of Pharoah's army came down from the north to attack, their chariot wheels fell off, and they were pushed back by the Israelites into a deeper area to the northwest of the island, where many drowned.  The Israelites then crossed back to the West coast of the Red Sea, and up into the "wilderness."  There's a clear burial site about 1/4 mile north of the island, in the shape of a helmeted Egyptian soldier.  If you want to find chariot wheels, look in and around the island.  As far as I know it has not been explored.

then you do not look at maps that show a land bridge
the Suez has a land bridge 50 feet down, 6 miles across, and 6 miles out to Sea, and a mile wide. The ships of Suez have dredged thru it in the middle. Wyatts land bride requires the belief that the existing bridge has worn down in 3000 years. his concept is only better in that it has a narrow wadi canyon inescapable except to cross the sea where on both sides things are named of Moses as they are on Suez also. Then the supposed Mount Horeb in Arabia (that is suppose to be the same Mount Sinai in Sinai) has a plain more condusive to holding 600,000 than Sinai does. So it is not easy to figure out. It is the only possible truth of all Wyatts claimed discoveries.

As for turning back, you do not read well, they were not told to turn back. Jehovah told them to turn back ... it says they pollowed a funnel cloud out of Egypt and in doing so the cloud made a U-turn. It, the cloud, turned back and Israel was then asking why are we following this damn cloud back to Egypt, then the cloud made another U-turn and crossed the sea. When crossing the sea it had stood still and lifted off the ground so that Israel saw the sea part and ran ahead, the cloud lowered to the ground as Pharaoh came to it and entered the dark side of the cloud, but all night long the side toward the full moon and clear sky lit up the sea for Israel to see. until the sun rose and the effect was lost.
This is why i beleive Moses could see the sea was parting and spoke out ordering it to do what it was already doing. He could see what was happening, and trusted his prediction. It is not easy to trust a prediction, Jesus did alot of prayig before every great feat. He sent his disciples to fish when he saw conditions of a storm coming that was opposite to normal for the Galilee sea, and then he prayed all day to be right before he walked on it. Does a man who is absolutely sure, pray that long, and then cry blood tears not wanting to die...? so i would not be so sure with your hokey claims of what really happened. You should be a defendent attorney, story tellers are criminal.

The Exodus was a classic slave revolt, and the Isrealites were fleeing from the Egyptian army, and they were indeed told to turn back at Pi-Hahiroth, see Exodus 14:2, "And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:  2 'Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn back and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal-zephon, over against it shall ye encamp by the sea."

You can clearly see a remnant of a square tower on Google Earth, south of Pharoah's Island, which I believe is Migdol, meaning "Tower".  Across the Red Sea from this area is a buttressed fortress area which is Baal-Zephon.  The Egyptians built their fortresses across from each other so they could communicate with each other.

When the Israelites turned to the left (i.e. towards the north), in order to attack Pharoah's Island, that's when the cloud became towards their back.  The cloud itself didn't move, because it was a cloud from an active volcano.

There could not be 600,000 people under this theory--more like 600 people.  No cows, children, sheep, etc.

The problem with the land bridge theory is that the Israelites would not have seen chariots washed up on shore ahead of them if they crossed over the entire sea--the chariots would have been well behind them.  Also, there'd be no "wall" of water, and no explanation how the land bridge suddenly disappeared.  No way would 600,000 people be able to cross a temporary land bridge without being bogged down in unbelievable mud.

Plus, you have to suspend disbelief to think this bridge was 50 feet higher and the wind would remove 50 feet of water (or even 2 feet of water) from the top of the bridge.  And how do you account for the fact the bridge was dry land?  Even a momentarily dry bridge would be unbearably muddy and uncrossable.

The land bridge theory is just that---theory.  More likely, the scenario I described would explain and clear up all the loose ends of the crossing--most notably why it took several months AFTER the crossing to reach Sinai.  If they did as I described, they'd be on the west coast of the Sea, and still need to find a way to cross over.  And for those who think that Mr. Horeb is Mt. Sinai, there's no evidence of this at all. In fact, Mt. Horeb is near Midian, which is on the Sinai Penninsula, whereas the true Mt. Sinai is located next to Lunnayir, an extinct volcano near Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Well I think Jesus had all the answers. But if he isn't here, then by all means I say why follow Joseph Smith or Mohammed, it would seem we have your explanation to follow and lead the world.
I don't know whether having your own theory and being all alone makes you the final discoverer of what happened, or whether it is better to have a claim that has whole total complete scholastic backing, which ever the case, truth is truth even with opposition making claims on how it couldnt have happened. The scripture says that the feet of Israel walked on dry ground, apparently not dry enough for the wheels of chariots. So I wouldnt exactly say you understand the temperature evaporation rates.

Being walled on both sides, I have no idea whether that means vertical walls. But the land bridge exists, it is not theory. And 50 feet is not that much water. That is what it is TODAY 3500 years later. There are memorials on both theories Suez and Aqaba, but no memorial at Pharaoh's island. The scripture says the cloud moved, it says it led them out, it says it went to the back of them and followed them thru. It is that detailed in the account. Or should we post word for word that account? It says BEHIND Israel the cloud on the side of Israel (forward) was light, and behind the cloud was Pharaoh and it was dark. This makes it totally clear that the stars and full moon were out in front of this pillar of cloud that followed them thru the Red Sea all night. You do not see black volcano clouds miles away in the Mediteranean at midnight with full moon. (very lame). You do not list this active volcano, (I am aware those who think and claim that Thera can be seen from there, I doubt that or i could see the cloud to the Mount Saint Helens explosion from Wisconsin), do post a map here, label distances, and elevations, and heights. I do not think what I have stated is without data to verify, yet I will trust you do have this active volcano location.

Hi Elijah:

Have you read Professor Humphrey's book "Miracles of the Exodus"?  This book makes a strong claim that the cloud was an active volcano, although he picks Mt. Bed'r, and I believe the true site to be farther south, next to Mr. Lunayyir.

Nevertheless, I believe the reference points of Exodus are not meant to imply miraculous clouds moving through space and time, but simply to describe the movements of the Israelites with reference to fixed points like the cloud from a volcano.  Exodus 14:20 states that "and it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud and the darkness here, yet gave it light by night there; and the one came not near the other all the night."  Under my theory, there was a camp of Egyptian soldiers on Pharoah's Island that was illuminated by everyday moonlight, whereas the camp of Moses and the Israelites was not illuminated because of a standard everyday cloud, not THE cloud, although it is possible it is referring to the cloud from the volcano which could have blocked the moonlight under some circumstances.

I realize this is my theory and I'm the first to have this theory so I expect others to not buy into it at first, but I've plotted out the locations of the sites and written a paper on my theory.

There is a memorial nearby Pharoah's Island--it is a burial site in the shape of a helmet, which I believe is the burial site of the Egyptians killed at the battle of Pharoah's Island.  The locations are as follows:

Pharoah's Island:   29° 27.834'N,  34° 51.585'E
Pi Hahiroth (Mouth of the Gorge):   29° 29.097'N,  34° 52.406'E
Migdol:   29° 27.066'N,  34° 50.080'E
Small fortress--nighttime site prior to nighttime attack by Israelites on Pharoah's Island:  29° 27.742'N,  34° 51.199'E
 29° 27.742'N,  34° 51.199'E
Burial site of Egyptians killed in battle of Pharoah's Island, in shape of helmeted Egyptian: 29° 28.580'N,  34° 51.639'E
Baal Zephon:  29° 26.828'N,  34° 58.210'E
Volcano (Lunayyir):   25° 9.842'N,  37° 50.857'E

And I do believe you can see a volcano smoke column from hundreds of miles away.  I agree the walls of water was a figuritive wall--i.e. the walls were like unto walls.  Or, the walls were 1 or 2 inches high, as the water was pushed aside between the shoreline and Pharoah's Island to permit
the Israelites to surprise attack the island without notice.

50 feet of water is a lot of water to push aside, and there's no reason to believe the bridge was a continuous bridge 3500 years ago, because there is record of shipping commerce throughout the Red Sea area and no record of a land bridge in any recorded writings of the time.  Certainly a bizarre phenomena like a land bridge extending over a deep sea like the Red Sea would have been mentioned in some reference material of the time.

On the topic of Wyatt's chariots wheels, I would like to share a story.

==ASTEROID ARMAGEDDON is in all religion==
In my research from 1983-1997,  I have gained the belief that Armageddon asteroid or comet is the final impact. I see this due to every encounter previously causing Noah's Flood, Exodus plagues, as well as then being noted and marked on churches and pagan temples any time another comet was seen. An asteriod crater documentary shows a crater in France that they desperately searched for the asteroid until it hit them in realization that the church dead center of massive crater was built of stone-cut of the asteroid.

==ASTEROID was attempted to predict by calendar==
All armageddon calendars not only refer to an alignment of planets, but also to comet. But the year expected for asteroid was Year 6000 of Adam. Do not get mistaken on literal alignments. It is calendrical only, it comes from Adam's year 2256 counting the original calendar of 3744. By original, I do not mean this was the first Armageddon count down... perhaps ancient scholars think that's what priginal meant, because it is true that 1656 AM was denied as Flood (by being claimed as Noah's birth) and the Flood claimed as this year 2256 AM. No but rather by original I mean the original true count from 1770 BC before Maya said it began with Flood of 3114 BC to 630 AD, or Babylon said it began 2 years after Flood with grandson Arpaxad in 2945 BC to 800 AD. The alignment is not true Venus and true Mars, but 584-day and 780-day. And it is not true Jupiter, but rather Julian oriental 12-year calendar. This is why my prediction came true that Saddam Huseein would announce Armageddon in 1991 on TV because the Kenosha News showed me we would have those 3 planets form a rare triangle that occurs but more than 300 years. (In calendar, this is 312 years and is today called 312 BC and 312 AD with Magi the middle triangle date between them. (Span between these dates is actually 622 years and are not the same cycles.) The crossing that Contantine saw was not a vision of a cross, but his personal vision interpretation of what to do because of an astral crosssing just like Saddam chose to do. What these politicians do not realize is that the calendar alignment (not planet) was intended to predict asteroid or comet. It is not a belief that alignment rips apart the world. It is a prediction date using an artificial venus calendar and mars calendar to count 3744 years to year 6000.

==My prediction of CHARIOT WHEELS being found==
When my niece was about 15 she came to me with a scholastic contest on a flyer offering school tuition with the requirement you write up your ideas of what you think will be discovered or happen before the year 2000. I cheated for her, I wrote up all my stuff. And in it, it included the map you see posted here by me saying the chariot wheels of Pharaoh would be discovered. Within 9 months she received a letter asking her to sign confirmation the ideas were hers to put her in the finals. She didnt, she was in Florida with mom, who wouldn't let her. Within 2 years Ron Wyatt discovers his wheels, and I began to wonder if they had a connection to the school contest to then be inspired to go on this trek. The point I truly made was not to foresee or predict such discovery, but to inspire someone to go do it. A self-righteous arrogant Pentecostal pastor eating everyday at the Hardees I worked at during my Chrysler layoff put me onto Wyatt (so as to demean my conversation saying to me Too late Too late, someone really of God has already found them). And a call to Wyatt foundation, resulted in a woman saying we believe the gulf of Aqaba. Well at the time in the 90s I was confused not knowing what she meant by not Suez but the other side of the sea, and surely she didnt mean the strait at the far south side 100s of miles away. Took a couple years for me to see what it was about, and to find it online. So to this day I would never know where Wyatt got his spirit to go find wheels. As far as one wheel, i swear i have seen two different pics, that I could not clearly see were the same wheel form different views. It appeared to be two different wheels.

But as much as I can knock him for not taking a hammer to breaking it off and bringing it up whether government likes it or not, I must say I do not do well at my own treks. I come down from a mountain becuase my finger is freezing, and I go home to Chicago. I lay around for a week recuperating because of a slip and fall that put my leg out, and then in a single prayer I get not only the cheapest flight, a cash-express check, and even a Turkish 19-year old student online (I met at an Anakara bus) to say yes he will explore with me but it must be now. And what do I do yesterday, but find that my flight 4 hours after purchase, and 3 hours before take off is refundable and I take the refund whining I am in too much pain. Go figure. Elijah is quoted as saying he was no better than his forefathers of whom he now condemns their children of Israel.

= = My Preference READING MATERIAL Regarding Plagues = =
I have come to realize that the plagues were induced by the comet encounter. As natural plagues amplified by Egyptian agricultural error. This includes calendar drift of 4 months in 475 years (2029-1554 BC disputed by Moses at 40 in 1554 BC and a notable year because it is the start of Stonehenge foundation with 56-year armageddon calendar) when the comet showed up 40 years later in 1514 BC. There were plagues all over Earth, so Moses only predicted those for Egypt. And he may very well have started with a plague that had already been preceded by several other plagues when he finally caught on that he could see and predict by Jehovah what would happen next. The man wa snot stupid, he knew Pharaoh wouldn't listen. But these plagues are listed in the Douglas Bible Dictionary back when JWs started buying it, and the WatchTower decided that it would counter with a better AID to bible understanding that would defend the miracles as miracles. But I have come to see that if you claim the Nile was actual blood (type A human? type O human, or cow's blood?) then you must think the moon will turn into a ball of blood too. Instead I realize the glory of Jehovah is being able to predict and control our future by rare never-before happening events. Yes the pillar cloud from the comet did part the sea by a wind and did show itself every equinox for 40 more years.
As for permit to climb, I am confused. The guide lived on the mountain with family owned land, and so said he had rights to take up the mountain, meanwhile this week I get an email from the American Embassy in Ankara that my request 4 weeks ago to go up before Sep 15 (which takes 3 weeks until Sep 8 to approve thru 7 channels) was apporved. Email sent to me Sept 15 giving permission for Sep 12-19. So evenm if I were not home near Chicago, it is a joke of incompetence. THEY cannot save their world. Further I also find that an Islamic country whose month of Ramazan is Elul this year will translate our September as the name Eylul (Jewish) when Ramazan 12 (Elul 12) was about September 1 and is not September 12. Go figure. Anyone try to translate online? It is all garble. In fact take the translation (English to Turkish) and return it back to your language (a Turk pasted the Turkish back to English to show me he did not understand this garble) and you will see. I find this is also so when i read the German Wikipedia on the Amizaduga Tablets. Very lacking.

Sitting here wondering where I and the world is going in the soon to follow weeks, and what the blasted 5 miles out of the moon will do Oct 9. All we need is one earthquake, two earthquakes that day, and the nations will be on the USA for having exploded nuclears in space without United Nations ratification. Or am I inspiring world war right here by informing readers? I don't think it will be chariot wheels coming from the moon. I only wanted to go inside the ark so that all would know (though not beleive) that the world was covered by water when everything dropped into the ocean as it will do again with next impact but not as deep as the 2 miles (just 1 - 1.5 miles).
