I am re-reading Jack Finegan's Archaeology of the New Testemant and have become absolutely fascinated by the introductory material on the various dates proposed by various scholars for Quirinius' Census, Pilate's term of office and the birth and death of Christ Himself.

...especially those of Vardaman that Finegan refers to. 

So I have ordered  Chronos, Kairos, Christos: Nativity and Chronological Studies Presented to Jack Finegan

I'd love to hear from anyone who is very familiar with Vardaman and/or Finegan and your opinions of them.

One thing that stood out to me is references to Vardaman's claims that there is "micro graphics" on old coins that clarify various dates.  In googling this, I find that so many call this "pseudo history" and "rediculous"...

...so is Vardaman just seeing things or what?

Christian death dates for Jesus Christ by Jack Finegan.
(I need to study this deeper, what I have posted as follows; give me time.)

I read thru these yesterday, and discovered his final conclusions are based on Nisan 14 falling on Good Friday and Nisan 16 on Easter Sunday as most probable. The typical debate is 30 AD and 33 AD. Thus the topic is attacked by valuing the full moon Passover. He comments on how some Christian dates had no full moon for the date of Jesus' death.

But being Elijah looking for ERROR, finding fault and pointing it out as I have done since 9, then I don't just look at others being wrong, including these ancient Christian Church chronologers; I also look at how or why they are. Again, I don't mean I merely present what is right and thus say so see this means you're wrong. I look to understand how the person got the wrong concept or wrong idea. One example is many will say Jesus was dead 3 days and 3 nights and so say Passover was on Wednesday night and he died on Thursday and rose on Sunday. They insist that the sign of Jonah must be 72 hours. But they fail to see that Nisan 14 was a Passover slaughtered Lamb for sin and for God to ignore sin and save his people, and that then 2 days later Nisan 16 was the first given to God. Thus Jesus must be Nisan 16 as the first given to God, and the raised on the 3rd day is not 72 hours. So you see I have covered both sides to show I understand the misunderstanding. I don't do the simple this is right and that is wrong, but I explain.

Thus there are reasons the scholastic christians had Egyptian dates that somehow are not a full moon. I will post later what I found; but I am saying now that I found it by not looking for full moon first, or Nisan 14, but rather by looking for what day of the week these dates were on. And I was surprised to find, that for the Catholic Church to have gone into the belief of a 30-year Christ dying like a 30-year Osiris (planet Saturn) or Osiris moon (30 year symbol of 30 days), that the Egyptian dates matched not 30 AD or 31 AD for a 30-year death, but rather in 33 AD.

A resurrection of Jesus on the Coptic date Pamenot 26 is Julian March 22 (Gregorian March 20) and although this is not a full moon in 33 AD, it is a Sunday for resurrection, and it is the equinox, and it is Nisan 2 or 3 days of the moon dying and being absent to be reborn.
