A Jerusalem walkway from the times of the Patriarch Abraham, protected by a wall of large rocks, has been discovered, and will be displayed to the public on Thursday.

Very interesting.

I'm glad they are finding such archaic places.

I'm disappointed that they cant find direct artifacts in Jerusalem  later time of 10 Century BC, a definite prove of King David and Solomon.
The biblical chronology places his life c.1037 - 967 BC, his reign over Judah c.1007 - 1000 BC, and over Judah and Israel c.1000 - 967

If 538 B.C.E. as the date.  Once that date is computed, one merely goes back 70 years to the capture of Babylon in the days of King Zedekiah.  One then can compute quite well the years of reign of all the Kings of Judah, Solomon, and David.  From this, it is evident that King David ruled around 1077 B.C.E. to 1037 B.C.E.
